Anna Kassapoglou
Η Άννα Κασάπογλου γεννήθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη, όπου ζει και εργάζεται. Σπούδασε Πολιτικές Επιστήμες στο Α.Π.Θ. Εκπόνησε το μεταπτυχιακό της στην Αγγλία, στο University of Portsmouth – Institute of Criminal Justice Studies (MSc in Criminology and Criminal Psychology). Κατά την παραμονή της στην Αγγλία εργάστηκε εθελοντικά στον τομέα της ποινικής δικαιοσύνης και στην εκπαίδευση στο σωφρονιστικό σύστημα. Ολοκλήρωσε το διδακτορικό της στο Τμήμα Κοινωνικής Διοίκησης και Πολιτικής Επιστήμης στο Δ.Π.Θ. με θέμα την επίδραση του εγκλεισμού σε κρατούμενους για οικονομικά εγκλήματα. Συνεργάστηκε με την ΑΡΣΙΣ-Κοινωνική Οργάνωση Υποστήριξης Νέων και το Κέντρο Θεραπείας Εξαρτημένων Ατόμων (ΚΕΘΕΑ ΠΡΟΜΗΘΕΑΣ). Από τον Ιούλιο του 2012 μέχρι και τον Σεπτέμβρη του 2018 συντόνιζε την εκπαιδευτική ομάδα λογοτεχνίας στη φυλακή Διαβατών και για ένα εξάμηνο το 2018 συντόνιζε την ομάδα ποίησης αποφυλακισμένων. Εργάστηκε παράλληλα ως Γραμματέας στην Εισαγγελία Πρωτοδικών Θεσσαλονίκης, ως επιστημονικός συνεργάτης στη Μέριμνα-Εταιρία για τη φροντίδα παιδιών και οικογενειών στην αρρώστια και τον θάνατο και ως εκπαιδεύτρια σε προγράμματα εκπαίδευσης σωφρονιστικού προσωπικού σε θέματα διαπολιτισμικότητας και αστυνομικών σε θέματα εξαρτήσεων. Εκπονεί έρευνα για την επίδραση της λογοτεχνίας στην απεξάρτηση και πρόσφατα ξεκίνησε συνεργασία με την Υπερρεαλιστική Ομάδα Θεσσαλονίκης.
Anna Kassapoglou was born in the Thessaloniki, where she still lives and works. She studied Political Science in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She holds an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Psychology from the University of Plymouth – Institute of Criminal Justice Studies in England. During her stay in England she worked as a volunteer in the criminal justice sector and in education in the prison system. She completed her PhD in the Department of Social Administration and Political Science of the Democritus University of Thrace, on the subject of the effect of imprisonment on inmates convicted for financial crimes. She has worked with Arsis – Association for the Social Support of Youth and with KETHEA – Promitheas, a Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals. From July 2012 to September 2018 she was a coordinator for the literature education group in the Diavata prison and she coordinated the poetry group of released inmates for 6 months in 2018. She has worked as administrative assistant in the Thessaloniki Courthouse, as a scientific assistant for Merimna – Association for the care of children and families facing life threatening illness and bereavement and as a trainer in educational programmes for prison stuff in the subject of inter-cultural approach and for police officer in the subject of addiction. She is conducting a research on the impact of literature in drug rehabilitation and has recently started working with the Thessaloniki Surrealist Group.
