Mario Spyroglou

Mario Spiroglou is a Greek director, graduate of University of Surrey. He has a BEng in Electrical and Electronic engineeringand a MArts in Film and Video. He has directed numerous TV shows, short films, commercials, music videos as well as audiovisual shows. In 2008 he founded Sfina, an interventionistic team that became very socially active in Thessaloniki and completed dozens of cultural actions in town. He also founded the first color Festival of Greece, Mera me ta Hromata in which more than 80,000 people have participated. He has collaborated with numerous cultural organisations including Film Ferstival Thessaloniki, Biennale, Fringe Festival, National theatre of Northern Greece as well as the National Broadcaster ERT
