Christina Batsila may not be born but is certainly raised in Thessaloniki, having spent here more than half of her life. She studied Philology in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a Masters Degree in Classics from the same faculty.
One of her greatest passions is learning foreign languages. She is fluent in English and Spanish and has also studied Italian, French and German, setting one of the Scandinavian languages as her next goal.
She started working as a proofreader and a journalist right after she finished her undergrad studies. She worked for one of the biggest newspapers in Thessaloniki, “Aggelioforos” for six years and also has experience in the field of online journalism.
She was involved as a volunteer in TEDxThessaloniki since 2011 and has also been part of the team of volunteers and in charge of the Media Team in the last two “Action Field Kodra” events in Thessaloniki.
