Ioannis Ergeletzis

I was born in Thessaloniki in 1976. I graduated from Pythagoras School/graphic design faculty in 1996 year coincided with the release of my first comic book titled “Pericles the Magnificent” winning a prize and a scholarship in DC Comics / New York.

I started my career path in 1997 as an Art Director (Super Fitness, Muscles & Fitness Magazines) at TSOLAKIS Company to continue at POINT ZERO Advertising (BBDO Group) where i was in charge for creative accounts as Expert & Hyatt Regency Casino.

Next stop in my career was PROLINE Advertising where designed graphics including visual identity of “Balkan Square” institution /Municipality of Neapolis and packaging design for American Farmer School & Domaine Lazaridi.

From 2006 to 2009 followed a cooperation with ADVANCED Advertising designing promotional materials for Municipalities of Kavala, Drama, Kalamaria and the Region of Central Macedonia, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (interreg II A)

Then followed a brief stint in TRIA Advertising designing for Domotel Hotel & Resorts, Ioniki Filosophy and Thessaloniki Concert Hall while as a freelancer designing for State Orchestra of Thessaloniki and 1st Athens Bar Theater.

In December 2012 i joined COLIBRI Branding & Design team where i handle customer projects as State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, Pet Interest, Palirria S.A., NIFF. Creativity, spirit of cooperation and good time management are characteristics that i accept with great pleasure and gratitude.

Honors in Greece and abroad. My portfolio is complemented by participation in International Exhibitions (Bienalle, Design21/USA, Social Design, Poster for Tomorrow/Paris) and my active participation in TEDx Thessaloniki 2013 & 2014 as a Creative of the visual identity of the event. I am an aficionado of Swedish design and its philosophy.
