We are more than happy to introduce our next performer, the actress Katerina Vrana, who according to well-known London arts magazine, Time Out, "sparkles on stage".

Katerina Vrana was born and raised in Greece. She went to study in the UK and stayed there. As an actress, she has appeared in TV series in Greece, stage productions in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as in short films in both Greece and the UK.

Katerina later on found her way into improvisation with Improvsters and Improvedy, as well as sketch comedy such as Dystopia, Big Frizz, Blind Design, Bigger Than Dallas. Katerina has been doing stand-up comedy for over three years and was a finalist at the Funny Women Awards in 2009. She has ran and organised mixed bill comedy shows in Edinburgh and currently runs and MCs two weekly comedy nights in central London - Rudy's Comedy Night and Angel Comedy - as well as gigs all over the UK. In late 2011 she performed in L.A. and followed that up with her debut solo Greek show, which was her first time doing stand-up in the Greek language in her homeland, to rave reviews. In February 2012 she started the very first open mic night in Greece, called “5 Mins of GLORY”, along with Lambros Fisfis (Laughing Horse Finalist 2009).

Vrana is an energetic and enthusiastic performer, with an intelligent, quick-witted style. Have a look at her set from the Finals of the Funny Women Awards 2009 at the Comedy Store in London.
